Guaranteed Issue Health Insurance Plans

We can cover just about anyone regardless of their health issues.

If you have made your way to this web page I am assuming that you are having difficulty obtaining a Florida health insurance plan. It is a sinking feeling to find yourself without any health coverage.

We would be more than happy to tell you about these plans. But, I recommend you first take 5 minutes, use this link (guaranteed issue health insurance plans) and read about our plans first.

Maybe You Are Insurable - Maybe You Are Not

You have to understand that the underwriting requirements for health insurance carriers are not always the same. You can be declined from one company and accepted by another.

So, the first thing we need to ascertain is whether you need a guaranteed issue health insurance plan or not. The only way to do this is to call. We have been doing this a very long time and can usually tell you in just a few minutes. Sometimes, we will suggest you apply for a plan and see what happens. Don't worry, it does not count against you.

Guaranteed Issue Mini Medical Plans

The term 'mini medical" has no meaning at all. It can be whatever anyone wants it to be. We use the term to describe our guaranteed issue indemnity plans. We have a variety of Florida guaranteed issue health insurance plans that are certainly worthy of being called a mini medical plan.

It is important to understand that all of our guaranteed issue plans are limited benefit plans. They are not major medical. You can think of them as high level supplemental plans.

Since they passed the new HealthCare Bill, mini medical plans are all but extinct. They only way you can get one is if you work for a company that made significant contributions to the current political party or work in a union shop. Starting to get a picture?

All of the plans that used to be called mini medical have been eliminated or had to refile as supplemental plans. In other words, they are no longer permitted to call themselves health insurance. They are not credible coverage (i.e. real health insurance).

There is still value in having some of these plans. But, we want you to completely understand what you are purchasing.

Using Indemnity Plans

Indemnity or Defined Benefit Plans are insurance plans that pay you fixed amounts based on a schedule of payments. For example, a plan might pay you $1,000 a day for each day you are hospitalized. Or, they might pay you $75 each time you went to the doctor for illness, up to a certain maximum number of visits.

While, this is not as good as the unlimited coverage found with a regular health insurance plan, used properly, it could cover 95% of all hospitalizations.

Our limited benefit plan (call it an indemnity plan or a mini medical if you like) is the best in the market. It has a large array of benefits and a true PPO network.

You can see the details of each plan and apply online. We have detailed brochures for each of these plans that we can email to you. Just use the Contact button at the top of the page to ask for one.

Pre-Existing Conditions

We do not cover pre-existing conditions for the first 12 months. However, doctor office visits only have a 30 day wait.

But, the important point is that you will eventually get everything covered. There are no permanent exclusions and no riders.
